The project
The project, part of the School-Work Training program at the Alberti-Virgilio Art High School in Benevento, involves the creation of a digital ecomuseum dedicated to the Janare, the witches of Benevento folklore. At the heart of the initiative is an interactive map that allows for an engaging exploration of both the real places linked to the myth and those evoked by legend.
The students of class 3A, majoring in Architecture and Environment, led by Professor Amelia Rossetti and supported by Engineer Luca Capobianco, developed the project by combining artistic, digital, and cultural research skills. Their goal is to enhance the local heritage and make the history and traditions associated with the witches of Benevento accessible in an innovative and immersive way.
